Bio

Juho Könkkölä (born in 1997) is a Finnish origami artist, who uses only a square sheet of paper as his artistic medium. With over 15 years of experience in folding origami, his focus is on creating expressive human characters. He gathers his inspiration from history, folk tales, mythologies, books, movies, video games, and real-life observations. The creation process of one artwork can take several months of work from planning process to folding thousands of folds on a piece of paper. He is very enthusiastic to learn new skills and refine his art techniques to accomplish even the wildest ideas.
